It is important as an artist to continually try new things. As with anything in life, if we just stick to the comfortable and familiar, we become stagnant and working as an artist is no exception. I’ve always had an interest in still life photography as a genre however I’ve never really given it serious consideration before these past few months. While I have had my ups and downs in creating this portfolio, I am pleased with the results and I think that I am heading in the right direction. Still, it is only in the early stages of development and I know that it will continue to evolve over time.
