Hailey at the Arizona Greyhound Rescue – Tucson Photographer Michael Kloth

This past Friday I had the great pleasure of shooting my first session for the Arizona Greyhound Rescue.   While the rescue mainly works to place retired racers into loving homes, they occasionally will work with shelters and other rescue organizations to help greyhound mixes find loving homes.   It was in this way that Hailey came to AGR last October and was made an honorary greyhound.

Hailey is probably best described as a lab/greyhound mix and is thought to be eight years old.  She has gone through basic obedience and she knows all of the basics.  Hailey has been living with AGR volunteer coordinator Sarah since she came to the rescue severely underweight.  Sarah has helped her reach a healthy weight and now she has lots of love and energy to share.  Hailey is great with people but not so much with cats and other dogs so it is probably best for her to go to a family with no other pets.

In my short time with her, it was clear to me that she is a very sweet girl and will make the right family very happy.  For more information, please visit her adoption page on the AGR or Petfinder websites.   Love her but can’t take her home?  Then please consider sponsoring her.
